can i trust a contracting company with my sf 86?
I’m about to begin the process to get my secret clearance but I’m uneasy about the fact that I have to give my sf 86 to a recruiter that I barely know and has only worked with the company for 2 months. The company itself is credible btw.

Why not? Most people that handle the SF-86’s are contractors. I am a contractor that does background investigations. I would not worry about it. It will be in good hands.
