Can you explain these sentences?
1. The company showed up in new city.
2. I don’t want to lose touch with the office when I travel to England
3. The kitchen is growing up quickly
4. John went to the store but it was empty

The wrong answer is number 1.
But I would like to know : you can’t consider it as the colleague? or
show up means established ?

Since number 1 answer is incorrect then why number two and number 3 are either?

John went to THE STORE but it was empty

company opening another branch or annex. This is wrong because it worded like the company is doing this alone. There is no person mentioned like there is in #2.
2. I don’t want to lose touch with the office when I travel to England
