I am putting in an offer for a new home tomorrow!!!!!!?
I am going to negotiate a price for a brand new home tomorrow. It is a two double bedroom place, main bedroom has en suite and built in wardrobes. Large living area, Kitchen/ dining area leading onto a lovely sized (not overlooked) garden. A nice big garage to the side and lovely location. It is on at £229,950 i hate the negotiation bit!! I want to get the best price possible coming to a deal where they can include all carpets/floor coverings. Any tips? and a guideline as to what i should offer realistically. Any help will be gratefully recieved. Thanks Everyone. The area is Hook Hampshire England around a 45 min train journey from London Waterloo.

The first thing you must remember is that it is a buyers market. You hold all the cards. A friend of mine is the manager of a well known estate agent and he says business is dire. Nothing is selling! Agents will valuate at the top end so as to get as much commission as possible. Offer as low as you like and ask for as much as you like. They can only say "no", but i suspect they won’t.
