I’m concerned with a friend who signs his name and adds Ph.D. He works indirectly with a university but he does work with the military as a contractor. He had an MA when he was hired. A Ph.D is not a requirement for the position. The problem is that everyone is asking me, his colleague and best friend, why Mr. X is now Dr. X, because he has not had time to complete his studies and disertation. Please advise.

My husband and his best friend are looking at starting up an electrical services contracting company to wire new houses kind of as a side project to their regular jobs. We are stuck on what to name the company because everything we come up with is either too boring or already taken. Does anyone have any ideas for a good company name that is unique but still professional enough to be taken seriously?
