Career Path Change?

Hi I went to school to become a Electrical Contractor and graduated with 3ed highest grade average in school but I never worked for any type of construction job besides flooring which was less than 4 months, because of this it is impossible for me to find a entry-level job in the contracting buisness both because I can’t afford a truck (have a car) and I have a lack of experince in just about any construction type job and the econemy where I live (boston, ma). So I am thinking of changing careers into somthing else that I really enjoy doing and that is computer programming and I was just wondering if it’s really worth it to pay to go back to school and learn somthing about a totaly diffrent feild. In computer programming are there more job oppurtunities, does the buisness / work demand go down if the econemy does? Is it steady all year around. Just trying to figure out my choices here. 5 stars for the person that can help me out the best, thanks so much everyone. =)

Who should I use for hard wood floors in Andover, MA?

I am a total flooring newbie. Looking for both advice and referrals. Should I use a company? (Empire, National Floors Direct, etc) or buy the material myself and have a contractor put it in?

What are the rights of someone filing a lawsuit against a contracting company for workmanship?

I own my own contracting company and have always had nothing but satisfied clients except for this one family. This job was funded by the state because this guy is in a wheelchair and needed a more accessible bathroom. To put things short this job was hell! The guy in the wheelchair threatened my contractor, they wanted to make changes to the materials (toilet, shower, ect.) after the government approved the bid, they picked the flooring and paint and after it was installed said it wasn’t what they wanted, they even damaged property that was supposed to be installed because they didn’t like it. The job was for 10,000 we didn’t get paid for labor at all, now they want to sue us for 25,000! They originally had 4 complaints and I have documented that we offered to go back and fix it or even pay for another contractor to fix it. I didn’t agree but I wanted them off my back, they refused. Now they are saying they are going to the media to slander my companys name and suing us.
Oh and by the way their list of four complaints is now up to 75! We do have documentation that we contacted the state about them destroying the flooring, the sink, and some accessories but I am worried that nobody will believe us because this guy is in a wheelchair. I can’t have my company on TV for doing bad work! What can we do???
The total cost of the bathroom was ,000 we got paid ,000 for materials which are all in the bathroom.
